Well, I’ve a new blog.

No significant reason at all!

I think this site is a bit cluttered and buggy, so I wanted to try a simpler template.

I’ve always had a sidebar on a left and now I want it on the right.

This site and my previous blog reflect my love for purple things, and I decided I wanted to something to represent my love for music.

My mood has changed!

Now that it’s all set up (thanks Lennel, dinner is on me tomorrow!), I’m beginning to feel reluctant about moving on. I’m going to miss squareberry’s – the template’s a birthday present from the boy last year. I love everything about it- the colours, the header image with my favourite clock…It’ll still be here though!

Yesterday, Lennel was sick and we went for a healthy dinner option at Salad Stop…

I am a huge fans of salads. The bigger the better, the more ingredients to chomp, the yummier. Salad Stop was awesome! For 8.80, you get a huge bowl of leaves (see pictures), and an unlimited selection of ‘free’ toppings from a choice of 40+. Also got some chicken to go with it for an additional $2. Complimentary breadsticks and however much dressing you like!

A large, satisfying portion- we were stuffed! I think we’ll be heading to the one at Novena Square often, yay for convenience. Apparently, they do online orders too!

This is my new favourite salad.

When I met Kim (yes, mouse is Kim), she passed me part 2 of my birthday present and told me to open it at home. The following conversation happened immediately as I put the present away:

Me: (still thinking of my regrets) You know this brand of bags called Long Champ?

Mouse: OMG, open the present. Its Long Champ.

She got her mum to buy me the purple one from Bangkok!!!

What more, I also gave her a purple bag for her birthday!

And look, during her birthday last year, I gave her a Little Miss Naughty Plush Toy…when she was wearing the Little Miss Naughty shirt!

Unbelievable.

I’m only a few chapters into this book but its so amusing I’ve to share it!

From ‘How to Impress the In-Laws’- “Also, take a good hard look at the father, as this is the wrinkly version of what you may end up with.”

HAHA! Fortunately, Camilla is not made of just wit and sarcasm. In fact, besides giving useful advice for girls (you got to decide for yourself what you want to take and what to discard), she generally advices graciousness and consideration, which I like! For example-

After approximately half a year, I have finally finished reading Twilight!!!! (4 exclammation marks- 1 for each book).

My take on the book? A few compelling moments here and there, but otherwise…neverending, boring and ridiculous. I won’t say its a waste of time to read…but towards the end, i was reading on for the sake of finishing what I begun.

Book 1: Typical teenage love story, lots of ‘I stared at his eyes’, ‘He looked so beautiful in the sun’, ‘I kept thinking of his kiss…’ *yadayada* But it brought me into the world of vampires, so it was quite fascinating. Plus I’m a sucker for romance.

Book 2: A waste of time with lots of ‘he broke my heart’, ‘I was burning’, ‘I can’t forget him…’. But well, Jacob’s character was developed in this book and I like him!

Book 3: I can’t remember…but I think all the time was spent waiting for a fight, and such a thick book just to kill one vampire!

Book 4: Okay, the twist in the love stories was i indeed unexpected! But once that happened, it was as good as ‘they lived happily ever after’ for me, and the rest of the book was bland. Again, waiting for a fight…that never happened.

That said, I do like escaping into a fantasy world. This series has accompanied me on many long bus rides, boring plane rides, lonely nights in hotel rooms…and I always read them when I was as a break from piano practice!

Thanks Sue Ann for lending me the series for sooooo long. You are mst gracious and kind- I hope you find them back in your hands in an acceptable state. I took pains to carry them around in ziplock bags!

Our one and only couple tee, LOL. I’ll admit that I’m one of those who roll their eyes at couples in matching outfits (nothing against the couples though!)…but I saw these funny shirts along a street in Bangkok and succumbed. They’re amusing right?

BTW, we are only wearing it in public once.

Last night, my brother told me to wake him up at 5:45am in the morning (yes, I wake up at 5:45am everyday…). He knew I would forget.
